In 1997, Prof. Dr. med. Volker Steinkraus founded a modern practice and day clinic for the diagnosis and therapy of skin diseases in Hamburg with the aim of treating and caring for every patient in the same way as one would like to be treated and cared for as a patient. Today, DERMATOLOGIKUM HAMBURG is a supra-regional competence center for dermatology and vascular surgery with thirty specialists for dermatology, allergology, vascular surgery and plastic & aesthetic surgery.

After Berlin and Kiel, the DERMATOLOGIKUM opened in Zurich in 2017. The DERMATOLOGIKUM ZÜRICH can thus draw on 20 years of expertise. We are committed to the claim that our patients with all their needs and questions are the focus.

The DERMATOLOGIKUM ZÜRICH is managed by the dermatology specialists Dr. med. Joachim Böhmer and Dr. med. univ. Martina Tröbinger. Dr. Joachim Böhmer was head physician of the dermatology clinic at Katharinen Hospital in Unna/Germany for more than 25 years. In addition to classical and operative dermatology, his main areas of expertise are phlebology and allergology. Dr. med. univ. Martina Tröbinger worked in Berlin and in Hamburg in the DERMATOLOGIKUM and is an experienced specialist in the fields of aesthetics and laser medicine in addition to classical and operative dermatology.

The pneumology department at DERMATOLOGIKUM ZÜRICH offers pneumological and sleep medicine consultation hours with the two lung specialists Dr. med. Martin Häcki and Dr. med. Dieter Donner. Both physicians have been active in pneumology for many years. Martin Häcki, MD, is also dedicated to outpatient pulmonary rehabilitation. Dr. med. Dieter Donner has special competence in sleep medicine due to the establishment and management of a sleep laboratory.
