**Founded in 2001, Klinik Tiefenbrunnen is the only private clinic in the Canton of Zurich that specializes exclusively in plastic and aesthetic surgery. We can offer our patients optimal care in a quiet, personal setting that contributes to their well-being and thus to their rapid recovery.

Plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery allows for mostly outpatient treatments or short inpatient stays of a few days in our clinic. We will take care of you until you can return home feeling safe and well. Even during the recovery and healing phase at home, we are of course always available for you.**

Hand/Tumors

The team of physicians at Klinik Tiefenbrunnen receives daily referrals from primary care physicians and dermatologists from patients who have tumors on the face and other areas of the body. These changes in the skin or subcutaneous tissue can be benign or malignant in nature. There is usually a medical indication for the removal of these tumors. The tissue defects resulting from their removal are treated in the same surgical session using plastic surgery methods and operated on in such a way that the external appearance as well as the body functions are preserved.

These operations usually require only an outpatient hospital stay for the patient, lasting a few hours at most. Both the operation and the follow-up treatment are billed according to the generally applicable TARMED health insurance tariff.

In exceptional cases, a hospital stay of several days may be necessary. In these cases, we will submit a request for reimbursement to your health insurance company prior to the operation.

Tumor surgery also includes breast cancer surgery and reconstruction of the breast after amputation. These operations are performed at our clinic or - in the case of more complex reconstructions - at the Hirslanden Clinic.
